Parents who have read our book, “Smart on the Inside – A True Story About Succeeding in Spite of Learning Disabilities”, have said that Eileen’s story has given them hope for the success of their own son or daughter who has learning differences. They are often worried that it might be difficult for their high school age child to find his/her first job.   1. Thank for pointing out that even children with learning differences can be successful. I think that taking the time to help that child prepare for job interviews is also a very good idea. I would imagine that they would be much more comfortable at the interview if they had practiced with you before.
